One thing I
have always enjoyed doing is listening to music, but over the last year or so I
have found myself in a rut, in that I haven’t found new music that I really
enjoy or I am stuck listening to the same bands and artists. Don’t get me
wrong, I love listening to my favourite bands and all their past music, but I
also want to find new artists that I can enjoy listening to and appreciate.
Basically, I feel out of it, if that makes sense, and so I have decided to
start a music blog where I post about new music I love, old music I love and
hopefully get some recommendations for music to listen to, and maybe even
recommend something to you.
I am
guessing that you might be a little interested to know what genres of music I
like listening to, seeing as this will be what I tend to blog about. I
generally like alternative, rock and pop music; however, I am open to most
other genres and am willing to give most things a listen. That said, I am not a
fan of heavy metal, rap or techno music, and so you can almost guarantee that I
won’t blog about anything along these lines, but the radio might get the better
of me occasionally…
What I
intend on doing is being honest. I will try to be unbiased in terms of the
music, but I will give my honest opinion on how I feel about it and whether it
is something I recommend to you. If you have anything you would like me to
listen to, just leave a suggestion in the comments and I will give it a listen.
I will try to update weekly, with my first proper post coming in the next
couple of days.
